Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.98~20100128-1
Severity: normal

Since upgrading from 1.97-1, grub-probe no longer detects the ext4
filesystem on /dev/md0:

  piper:~# grub-probe --verbose -d /dev/md0 #[1,309]
grub-probe: info: the size of hd0 is 1953525168.

  grub-probe: info: opening md0.
  grub-probe: error: unknown filesystem.

This again works fine when downgrading to 1.97-1. I think it may be
related to this being a RAID system, for I have not seen this
problem on my laptop, where /boot is on /dev/hda1 and also ext4.
