Bug#567239: grub-pc 1.98~20100126-1 fails to boot.

Processor: AMD Athlon X2 QL64 dual-core.

Since the most recent upgrade of grub-pc my laptop fails to boot.
Grub shows a bunch of output and ends with shutting down the PC.
Recovery mode too doesn't work, I need to boot from cd-rom with grub-rescue-pc.
I am using KMS with module radeon modeset=1.

Booting with the Squeeze version 1.98~20100115-1 of grub-pc works without any problem.
