Bug#336313: gstreamer0.8-alsa: alsa not set

Package: gstreamer0.8-alsa
Version: 0.8.8-2
Severity: wishlist
When installing gstreamer0.8-alsa in stead of gstreamer0.8-oss, the
gconf info is not updated so that rhythembox, for example, uses the alsa
library. This means one have to use gconf-editor and search down the
place to manually change from oss to alsa. I don't know if this is easy
to do when installing gstream0.8-alsa, but it would be great if there was a simpler way to do this.
PS: I don't use gnome only some of the programs.
