While chasing a hang during the installation of libgstreamer on m68k, we
found that "gconftool-2 -R /" hangs on m68k.

LC_ALL=C GST_REGISTRY=/var/lib/gstreamer/0.8/registry.xml sudo strace -f
-e trace=file -o gconf.log gconftool-2 -R /

ctrl-c after five minutes
