[Pkg-haskell-maintainers] Bug#673081: gold

I think there should be some way to use ghc with gold; gnu ld is
very slow and eats memory when you're linking yesod binaries, I don't
know if gold is better but would at least like the option to try it out
before I upgrade my RAM.

In the past 2 days, there has been work to make ghc use linker settings
from /usr/lib/ghc/settings : http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/4862

Could that file be moved to /etc? Then, in addition to defaulting to GNU
ld even when gold is installed, our GHC binary could be configured to
work with gold by those who really want to try that.
