done. I left a package in my home directory, you should be able to
install it and then build the happy package unmodified. I just uploaded
a new source, so either wait, fetch it from incoming.debian.org or from
my home directory on exodar:

/home/nomeata/happy_1.18.9-1_hurd-i386.deb
/home/nomeata/happy_1.18.9-1.dsc

So you managed to build the newest ghc on hurd. Was that a problem? Or
did it work without any modification?

If you want to ensure that GHC keeps working on hurd, you should
consider providing a GHC builder to upstream:
http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/wiki/Builder

Greetings,
Joachim
