[Pkg-hpijs-devel] Bug#484801: automatically got a systray app which I don't need

Hello Chris,

Could you have a look at bug #484801.

printconf automatically drags in hplip (and hence the useless and 
annoying to some HP systray applet) because of this chain of Depends:

printconf <-- foomatic-db-hpijs <-- hpijs <-- hplip

I think that either printconf's dependency on foomatic-db-hpijs, or 
foomatic-db-hpijs's dependency on hpijs is too strong---one of them 
should be a Suggests or Recommends.


Since there is really nothing HPLIP can do to fix this bug, and both 
printconf and foomatic-db-hpijs are maintained by you---could you 
please reassign the bug to whichever of those two packages is most 
appropriate.
