Do not use apt or aptitude at all. Just use ia32-apt or
ia32-aptitude. It does everything already.

That is an issue with amd64 being out of sync on its libc6 and
aptitude ignoring pining (or you don't having any). I'm working on
preventing it from causing trouble but for now it will cause an
uninstallable libc6-i386 for a few hours every time libc6 is uploaded
(which isn't that often). It is not really different from
libfoo-common being incompatible with libfoo till the buildds catch
up.
