Dear libsoundtouch maintainer,

please don't build a lib32* package. Those were introduced for the few
special cases that are Build-Depends of gcc (java runtime mostly). So
unless something Build-Depends on lib32soundtouch0 you shouldn't build
one.

The reason for this is that ia64 (itanium) also supports 32bit binaries
but has no 32bit compiler. Your lib32soundtouch0 can not be compiled for
ia64 and ia32-libs has to provide it for that arch. So we end up with
the package twice.

Hopefully wheezy apt/dpkg will finally support multiarch making this a
non issue. But you might want to already adapt your package to
multiarch so it will become instantly usable as soon as the user
installs a multiarch apt/dpkg. Multiarchified packages are completly
compatible with stable (even old stable) so you don't have to wait for
apt/dpkg. There just won't be all the benefits yet untill apt/dpkg add
the missing full support.

MfG
        Goswin
