I did, that's why I started the discussion.

You missed "text". I was wondering why there are some Input Method
packages in "text" and others in "utils". Scim related packages seem to
be in "utils" and uim and m17n related packages are in "text".

I'm curious whether there was any reason for this?

I can understand why some Input Method packages may go into libs, x11,
gnome or kde.
