I'm glade that you want involve in sunpinyin packaging, actually the maintainer
of sunpinyin is IME Packaging Team, as you are a member of IME packaging
team, please feel free to backport sunpinyin to Squeeze, and add yourself to
Uploader.

Some of sunpinyin package(not all) have git repository in
git.debian.org, you may
create a new branch for backport, or let me do version control related task.
