[Pkg-ime-devel] Removal of scim-python and its reverse dependencies

Hi everyone,

I have just requested the removal of scim-python and its reverse
dependencies, because scim-python is RC buggy and nobody would like to
help on improving the situation.

Actually, we are in the process of getting rid of obsolete components
of SCIM from Debian. Obsolete components means packages that has no
(really) active upstream to supply important bug fix, and nobody
actively maintain them to make sure they are suitable for net stable
release.

Even if SCIM is some kind of outdated in my opinion, I'm still happy
to see it gets released in Debian when there are people taking care of
it.
