Can you elaborate why you are telling me this style is wrong?  (You may
be right but in order for me to change, I need some reference
information.)

Here is my background.

We moved to QT4 and QT4_IM_MODULE is valid
environment variable to use as I heard (I do not use KDE).  Can you
point me to the reference document which is the base of your assertion.

Almost all im-switch code uses QT4_IM_MODULE.

My quick googling related this topic is:
