Ok, that's correct. But please don't close valid bugs just because you
don't feel like fixing them today. python-glade2 is definitely not
something that is installed on an average Debian system. Since
ibus-anthy won't work without python-glade2, I think this bug's
importance is easily "Serious" and therefore RC. The original Ubuntu
bug was http://pad.lv/829876

I'm sorry if my bug report seemed rude or unfriendly. It definitely
was not intended that way.

Having packages in sync makes it easy to verify that Ubuntu didn't fix
something in their packages and neglected to forward that fix to
Debian (as this bug which was fixed in Ubuntu a year ago). You can use
http://packages.qa.debian.org/ibus or
http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=pkg-ime-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org
to easily check the Ubuntu versions.

Also, it is much easier on Ubuntu developers to include the latest
fixes from Debian if they can do a sync instead of a merge.

Just because you don't care about Ubuntu does not mean that you should
refuse contributions from Ubuntu.

Actually, it's your job as a Debian maintainer to triage bugs in the
packages you maintain. I've reported multiple valid bugs in
ibus-related packages today and given the somewhat unfriendly
reaction, I'm less motivated to do so in the future.
