Hi,

can you please explain why the package ngirc on debian is compiled 
without pam support?

As pam is avaiable for a lot of other services (login, ftp..) i don't 
see a rational not to have pam support within ngirc.

And currently that is something I would really like to have. Hope that 
pam is enabled in future.
