So I've added SuccessExitStatus=15 to git (we already had 21 in
there if no sessions are configured, so it's not without
precedent) for now.

I'm leaving this bug open, because you experienced some other
problems, irrespective of that. If you need help figuring out
what's wrong (perhaps because my earlier changes broke something)
please get in touch.
