This is not a FTBFS bug as the package compiles fine even without the
jars that are in the classpath (at least on my i386 the Jikes does not
stop on system warnings but happily compiles the stuff) . It will be
fixed in the next release which will hit the archives about 10 minutes
after this mail so I don't bother downgrading :)
