Package: tomcat4
Version: 4.1.30-6
Severity: wishlist

Tomcat 5 is out now, with Servlet/JSP 2.4/2.0 support.

Is there a timeframe for release of a tomcat5 debian package?

I can manually install Tomcat of course, and I have marked this as
wishlist priority - so am more curious than anything else at this point.

Having said that, I prefer the way the Debian releases of Tomcat
have worked to date - that and I don't like to bypass package
management.

Please don't take this as a "hurry up" message, but as an
acknowledgement of the quality of work you guys have done in the past
and a preference to using it in the future.

Regards,
ADFH
