Package: libbatik-java
Version: 1.5beta2-4.1
Severity: normal

I just tried to backport FOP (libfop-java) to Woody, and ran into the
problem of the libbatik-java dependecy.
I managed to fix the problems there, but there are clearly bugs into
debian/rules:
It is assuming you are going to use j2se1.4 (should at least try to
detect the version really installed, 1.3 in my case), is build-depending
upon kaffe and further in the script, "kaffe" is explicitely called (in
the "clean" target.

Please fix those.
I can send you a patch if needed, but I don't think you'll really need
it.
Regards

   * added the dependency and the path to j2sdk1.3 to build batik (closes:
#192539). You got to know that I have not been able to build batik
with j2sdk1.3. I've been obliged to build it with IBMJDK1.4.1.
   * added gnujaxp as a dependency and in the classpath (closes: #192542)
