No, I just mean that the path fed to update-alternatives contains no
"jre" component -- it reads

    /usr/lib/j2sdk1.4-blackdown/plugin/amd64/mozilla/

(which doesn't exist) rather than

    /usr/lib/j2sdk1.4-blackdown/jre/plugin/amd64/mozilla/

(which does).
