migration to Subversion

Hi,

I recently joined the pkg-java project on Alioth, and am looking to
upload the Bouncy Castle crypto library package that I am currently
working on. It appears that a Subversion repository for the project has
already been created, but that no projects have yet been migrated.

Do you have a migration strategy? Running cvs2svn should facilitate the
migration if you are looking to do it soon.

If not, an alternative strategy would be to simply instantiate all new
projects in the Subversion repository, and then migrate the others over
time.

As for the work I plan to do with Bouncy Castle, I would have far
preferred working out of Subversion, with the assistance of
svn-buildpackage.

What are the group's thoughts on the matter?

Charles
