Jeroen,
~ I subscribed to the Blackdown list and will pose the questions. I
don't expect much, given that they currently only list two mirrors for
all of North America, and one of them (ftp.tux.org) doesn't seem to
work. Here is my understanding of the question(s) for the Blackdown
team; please comment on it and then I will send on whatever we arrive at:

1.) Is the Blackdown Java Linux team planning to distribute a Debian
package for the recently-released PowerPC 1.3.1 JDK and JRE[0]? Is
Blackdown open to Debian packages for these items built from the Debian
Java Packaging project[1]?

2.) What is the outlook for mirrors of Blackdown offerings? The current
list[2] is rather sparse and some mirrors listed prove unreliable and
quite slow. Is Blackdown open to assistance with enhancing the mirror
infrastructure?
