Cool! I planned to look at it tomorrow, and fixing this bug amongst
others, and I'm very grateful for your work.

Is it really needed to move files around in the source? Isn't it
possible to keep them where they are, and just have those files install
in different places by rules etc?

NMU'ing shouldn't be needed, as the blocking point was writing and doing
the changes, not committen and uploading. I'm busy today, but plan to
look at it tomorrow. I think I should tell you what happened when I
announced attention to look at java-package, which is that I was told to
get myself into pkg-java and add myself to uploaders, which I did. I
could also commit your changes and upload myself, just whatever you
prefer. If you want commit access, that's possible by mailing avdyk@ or
sgybas@ afaicr.

Thanks,
