I understand your POV but we package kaffe as a complete development
environment. That's why you have ecj, rmic, fastjar and gjdoc.

If you want only a JVM, an only a JVM, you can install gij, cacao,
jamvm, sablevm, ...

I don't think it's a bug, I see this as a feature ;-)
