Is there a "These items needed before Free Java is usable" status page
somewhere, that I can refer to?

I am unable to fix Java coding issues myself, but is involved with
projects like Debian-edu that currently use SUN Java and could use a
simple to comprehend status page for decision makers about Free Java.
