I would be interested in the package if the legal situation would be
clarified. I don't wanna maintain software located in non-free. Just
personal preference.  The mentioned Apple classes are not in the
download jar anymore. What other culprits can be in?

The other issues mentioned in Bug #300096 should be small. Free Java
alternatives made good progress in the last year. Eclipse is in main.
Many good runtimes are in main. Of course users are free to use
proprietary but we done force them to do.
