Please can I apply to join the Java Packaging Project. I've opened an
account on alioth ("paulcager-guest"), and I'm subscribed to
A little about myself, by way of introduction...
I work as a Java developer for a big UK bank. Working in a large
corporation has, if anything, confirmed my enthusiasm for Free Software.
I've been a Debian user for a little over a year now (having migrated
from Mandrake). I'm new to Debian packaging, although I have adopted the
java2html package and created the tagsoup package (thanks for all your
help, Marcus!). I'd like to get involved with some of the work you do here.
My main interests are in parsers and compilers, such as JavaCC, BCEL,
BeanShell, checkstyle, commons-el, rhino etc.
Thanks for your time,
