Package: commons-pool
Version: 1.2-5
Severity: serious
Justification: FTBFS + requiring internet access during build brings lots of problems

Hi,

I determined that when building commons-pool, internet access is used to
retrieve files from java.sun.com:

 28.096135   10.69.1.34 -> 10.69.7.225  DNS Standard query A
java.sun.com
 28.264390  10.69.7.225 -> 10.69.1.34   DNS Standard query response A
72.5.124.55
 28.264603   10.69.1.34 -> 72.5.124.55  TCP 44554 > www [SYN] Seq=0
Len=0 MSS=1460 TSV=5388994 TSER=0 WS=7
 31.267002   10.69.1.34 -> 72.5.124.55  TCP 44554 > www [SYN] Seq=0
Len=0 MSS=1460 TSV=5389744 TSER=0 WS=7
 37.266808   10.69.1.34 -> 72.5.124.55  TCP 44554 > www [SYN] Seq=0
Len=0 MSS=1460 TSV=5391244 TSER=0 WS=7

Quoting #393900:
Accessing the network during build is bad for these reasons:
- It's a privacy concern: without being asked, some information about
  the system is being sent to a remote host;
- It should be possible to autobuild the package on a buildd with no
  network access.
- The build has a high probability to fail lateron because of the
  referenced host (temporarily) disappearing.

About the archive rebuilt:
The rebuilt was done on about 60 AMD64 nodes of the Grid'5000 platform,
using a chroot containing an etch i386 environment (not unstable).
Internet was not accessible from the build nodes.

About Grid'5000:
The Grid'5000 project aims at building a highly reconfigurable
experimental Grid platform gathering 9 sites and featuring a total of
5000 CPUs. Its main purpose is to serve as an experimental testbed for
research in Grid Computing. To learn more about Grid'5000, read
