i think you want to fix debian/dirs, the two following are unneccessary
in your package:

drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2007-10-08 13:55:13 ./usr/bin/
drwxr-xr-x root/root         0 2007-10-08 13:55:13 ./usr/sbin/
