Hi Andrew,

I take the freedeom to foreward your mail to our packaging group
Debian Java Maintainers <pkg-java-maintainers at lists.alioth.debian.org>
because it is definitely not only me who is interested - and probably
I'm one of the weakest parts considering my Java / Eclipse knowledge.
But somebody has to start the effort and looking at latest actions
(including gaining your interest) it seems to be successful first
steps.

I'm in big favour of the collaboration because we are definitely
a small packaging team and joining forces seems to be very clever.

I have to confirm that I'm not the person you was talking to recently -
I have no connection to Ubuntu (except that I would like to help
Ubuntu people by helping in making proper Debian Eclipse packages.

Kind regards and many thanks for your invitation

        Andreas.
