  I'm unsure, but I think that statsvn counts commits as one commit
per file. I don't have the means to check that now, but would that
make sense ?

  From what I remember, statsvn counts changed lines as LOC: if you
have one file with one line that you've changed hundreds of times,
you'll get a high line count.

  I'll try that on a dummy repository some time later.
