Bug#685075: java-package: plugin not found when trying to build jdk7u6

I downloaded the jdk 7 u 6 package from the oracle site and attempted to run make-jpkg and it comes back and tells me no plugins found.

Is this because I am trying to use a currently unsupported version of the jdk ?
