Bug#799810: eclipse: upgrade to 3.8.1-8 broke Eclipse

Hi,

please always reply to the bug report, so that other people are able to
comprehend and fix it too.

You could narrow the issue down by removing all external plugins and
reapplying them one by one again. Unfortunately we cannot really support
all external plugins together with Debian's stock version of Eclipse.
The Eclipse eco-system is a fast moving target and plugins become often
incompatible with a certain version.

The workaround is to find out what plugin causes the crash and then to
upgrade it to the latest version or to substitute it with another
alternative (if possible).

I intend to package a newer version of Eclipse in the coming months
which might help to fix this issue for you. I will ping you again and
ask you to test this new version but don't expect a new release in the
short term.

Regards,

Markus
