thanks for this build log. It seems that we need to package 
org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-gpg-plugin and it seems that no ITP is
filled yet. This, in turn have other dependencies, as shown here:
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/maven/plugins/tags/maven-gpg-plugin-1.6/pom.xml?view=markup

I fail to see the plexus-utils, amongst others. But I'm not that good
at searching in the Debian/Java ecosystem so I may well be wrong.
