Bug#875343: FTBFS with Java 9: RM? Or tools.jar

Source: carrotsearch-hppc
Version: 0.6.1
Severity: normal
User: debian-java at lists.debian.org
Usertags: default-java9

This package fails to build with default-jdk pointing to openjdk-9-jdk.
Please fix it, so that we can start the transition to Java 9.
The wiki has some common problems and their solutions:
https://wiki.debian.org/Java/Java9Pitfalls

It uses dodgy, doomed methods to try and find tools.jar.

It's a library package with no rdepends, and it's pretty outdated. We
could RM it?

The upstream version has fixed this problem; they don't depend on
tools.jar anymore. I didn't test if the upstream version fixes all the
problems, however.

Build log:

ERROR] Failed to execute goal
org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-antrun-plugin:1.8:run (generate.sources)
on project hppc: Execution generate.sources of goal
org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-antrun-plugin:1.8:run failed: Plugin
org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-antrun-plugin:1.8 or one of its
dependencies could not be resolved: Could not find artifact
sun.jdk:tools:jar:debian at specified path
/usr/lib/jvm/java-9-openjdk-amd64/../lib/tools.jar -> [Help 1]

Cheers,
Chris.
