I would agree that it would make sense, if adopted upstream.

But doing it locally for Debian makes little sense IMO: If applied only 
to the nodejs itself it has too little impact, and if applied via our 
JavaScript Policy to all Node packages I fear it to be too much work, 
too error-prone (due to not being caught when both names are provided) 
and confuse more than it helps.

IMO this change only makes sense because Policy (and an opposite camp 
equally stubborn as we are, but IMO by a weaker reasoning) forces us to 
do so.
