Looking at dos437.sl, I'd say NO, as the whole code is in an
#ifdef IBMPC_SYSTEM
block.

Ok. We could keep the files (for reference and bidirectional
compatibility) or remove (for clearity and less files). For me, it
makes not much of a difference.
