I've send out a request for comments six days ago, but nobody responded.
I thought you are to bussy.

The release team has given the date for the freeze, 18 Oct. I think we
need two months to make sure a package in testing is ready for stable.
Ergo, we need to make a release of the package as soon as possible.

What do you think about the jed-extra package? Can we release it? Maybe
to experimental?
