Build the package from SVN (was: Re: jed: slsh load path settings)

Do you looking for something like this?
http://www.minet.uni-jena.de/~joergs/svn-build Call it from the debian
directory in the SVN tree. You can set an environment variable if you
want to use a different orig.tar.gz than the one specified in
rules/get-orig-source.

GET_ORIG_SOURCE='svn export ~/svn/jed-upstream; tar -czf \
  jed-0.99-18.orig.tar.gz jed-upstream; rm -r jed-upstream' svn-build

It runs automatically linitan after build and checks if the tree differs
after build from the tree in orig.tar.gz. If you want to have the build
packages add the option noclean. Otherwise the build tree is removed.
