Paul, do you think the conversion function could go into the Jedmodes CVS
(either as separate script or inside gdbrecent.sl (to be used with jed -f))?
Or should it rather go to /usr/share/doc/jed-extra/examples/ ?

BTW:

With jed installed from the Debian package, jed-script is in /usr/bin
