I beg to disagree, there is nothing in the Policy that prevents the
changelog trailer line to contain the name of a mailing list. Updating
the Uploaders field (which will be done in the next release of slgsl)
seems to be enough.

By the way. this seems to be common practice.  See, for instance:

http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/k/kdebase/kdebase_3.4.2-4/changelog

I am thereby closing this bug report.  Please, reopen it only if:

  1) you convince me that I am wrong and points me where the Policy
     mandates that the changelog line must contain a real person name;
     and

  2) You also fill a similar bug report against all packages that
     use mailing lists in debian/changelog (like kdebase).
