I tested that it built on the porterbox and got the same benchmark 
results.  I uploaded dsmft and utf8proc a little while ago and dsmft has 
already built on powerpc, ppc64 and ppc64el.

I checked the build logs and AltiVec support was enabled for powerpc and 
ppc64, and not for ppc64el, as expected.
