Well, in contrast, I have been unable to build in stretch any version
of julia since 0.4.2-3.

I attach five different failed build logs at various dates with
different machines. Surely there must be a reason for that.

I would suggest that you try to reproduce this in your own machine
using sbuild (as I did) instead of relying on the official autobuilders
as the only criteria for "it builds ok".

If it happens to be a bug in sbuild, we would like to know.
