We all know what the problem is ladies and gentlemen. I think the major point here is:

Patches are welcome!

In other words.. Fix it yourself or stop complaining! Please! Don't mean to be rude, but I really think there is too much whining in these comments. The assignee has made it clear above that he doesn't have the time to fix this, so its up to you. This is open source, people. Contribute!
