What worries me, are the crashes on reported with exiv2 0.10.
In b.d.o as will as on ml, culminating in an FAQ:
http://www.digikam.org/?q=node/177

If it's really that bad, removing the users of libexiv2 0.10 in debian
is IMHO not the right solution for a stable release.

We'll (hopefully) read soon how Andreas describes the state of 0.10
versus 0.12.

AFAIK 0.9 did not change DB layout.

I would suggest: Let's give Andreas Huggel one day to explain
exiv2 status. If libexiv2 0.10 is no 'danger' for the etch users,
let's upload immediately to experimental.
