Hi John,

I've tried with the RSN uploaded rc1 deb:

To go to the next/prev picture one can use 'Page up' and 'Page Down'.
This works in album view as well as in the image editor.
(As long as one has not changed folders alt-left/right does
the same.)

BUG: When one changed to another folder, alt-left/right walks
you suddenly through the album history.

The lost input focus is a good point. This should IMHO be fixed to
keep input focus at whatever inputwidget had the focus before the
image change.

AFAIK in the next kipi-plugin release will be a plugin what allow
(batch) manipulating comments in a dialog again.

BUG: One other thing I now noticed is that Prev/Next/etc images in
toolbars (white arrows on blue circle) are different from the file menu
(black arrow in transparent bg) in IE. I assume that's related to the
bug mentioned above.

I'll submit a report to bugs.kde.org later if you are not faster ;)

To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is
a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated.
You discover truth everytime you use it.
