ok, having installed the udev package which ships the device node in the
deb itself, everything is now ok for Feisty and Edgy it seems. 
So, the "error" is plain that the vserver environment is refusing to
perform any potentially harmful action and therefore didn't allow the
udev to be installed. 

Hope this explains sufficiently what has gone wrong. If you spot any
other error that you think should not happen, please drop me another
note.
