Package: network-manager-kde
Version: 1:0.9~svn1175124-1
Severity: normal

knetworkmanager is clearly running in my install (as it crashes when I issue
"/etc/init.d/network-manager restart" and is present in the output of "ps -
A"),
yet while it used to be perfectly compatible with the systray in awesome,
there is no icon showing up in this fresh install.
