Hi!

I try with several version of Kphotoalbum, and kipi-plugin.

When I use an archive of database (from previous version),
Kphotoalbum can load database.

I changed only one tag on one picture, and save database.

After exit Kaphotoalbum, and lunch again Kaphotoalbum, he load
database and hang.

If I compare the old database file, and the new file database.
There is many differences between files, but small.

for exemple :
Start of files (with problem encoding utf8 for the new):
old :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<KPhotoAlbum version="3" compressed="1">
 <Categories>
  <Category icon="kdesvntree" viewtype="1" thumbnailsize="128"
name="Mots-clés" show="1">

New:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<KPhotoAlbum version="3" compressed="1">
 <Categories>
  <Category icon="" viewtype="1" thumbnailsize="128"
name="Mots_.2Dcl_.FFFFFFE9s" show="1">

and for many lines, without problem utf8 encoding (I can read all
chars) :

old:

With vim, I replaced the 'name="Mots-clés"' like old file, and
lunched again Kphotalbum, who can load database file.

If I save again the database, the same wrong specials chars come back.

It's a small problem, I hope you can change this easily, it's on the
begening database file.
