[Pkg-libvirt-maintainers] Bug#773106: firstboot script installed but then not found

martin f krafft madduck at debian.org
Sun Dec 14 12:37:06 UTC 2014

Package: libguestfs-tools
Version: 1:1.29.14-1
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/virt-sysprep

virt-sysprep seems to install a firstboot script, but that script is
then actually not found in some cases. Often, just trying again
works, so this is not fully reproducible. It's a bit weird, see for
yourself:

fishbowl:~/wip/thinclone% ./thinclone red.virt
+ sudo virt-sysprep --operation customize --hostname red --firstboot sysprep.sh -a /var/lib/libvirt/images/thin_images/red.virt
Formatting '/var/lib/libvirt/images/thin_images/red.virt', fmt=qcow2 size=4294967296 backing_file='/dev/fishbowl/virt-BASE.virt' encryption=off cluster_size=65536 lazy_refcounts=off
